LOL! Well, first off, I'd get it in solid black or something a bit more restrained.Zander wrote:Didn't Spock play this on the original Star Trek?Tom Dalton wrote:You know it's weird, not necessary, and maybe not practical...but dern it, you want!!!https://fbcdn-sphotos-e-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/942375_10151464709776647_1216384553_n.jpg

I don't know.. from what I've been told by a guy I play with that has been building and repairing acoustics for over 30 years those things are actually built pretty damn good.Tom Dalton wrote:LOL! But harp guitars have been around a while:
Wanting one made out of carbon fiber takes the risk-factor and maintenance-factor out of owning a large, expensive instrument. And carbon fiber, when done right, is insanely resonant, so I think it'd work well for a harp guitar.

Apparently my town, Farmington Missouri, has only of the only American manufacturers these in the country. Redundant sentence there? But still, it's some hick town in the middle of nowhere and this guy is making these and all kinds of weird ass steel drum things out of his garage/factory thing. The high school here even has their own set of like 20 steel drums from him.JamesHommersen wrote:This...
