I still love my Fingerprint. Best pedal I've ever bought and I use it for everything.

I had a clone that rawked. And I foolishly sold it. Like so many other things I get.

Look at bill Finnegan, made the klon, people liked it, stopped making the klon, 50,000000 klones appeared.
Made the ktr which sold out even though the klones were cheaper. And now there are waiting lists for the ktr.

I never bought a Fingerprint, I got it as a christmas present But i admit that buying the original would feel quite disrespectful towards Tuffteef, who built and handpainted it for me, so I might not buy the original. But i doubt everyone is in the same situation

Hey, I've been trying yo get one of these for about 2/3 years now. The guy from the Penny pedals site (whoever he is) basically ignored me every time so I got a bit pissed off until I started reading things like he would drop the production becouse he "liked where the fuzzprint was going to". Now I'm tired of waiting, either I get one (clone) or whatever or I wire myself one.
All versions of this circuit are more or less the same? I love it for how it plays with chords, awesome sound for the begginings of my chain. The noir is nice but I like the original/redux sounds. i love fuzz hugger stuff but felt it a bit different, maybe it's just the amps used In those demos. Any advice or hints on how to get this pedal this year?

Sounds to me like he's tried to get one and is being ignored. I'd probably be annoyed as well, but I'd just buy another pedal and forget the builder all together. That's how i roll. I wouldn't want something if I wasn't answered. LOL. Now you can find one used. Like here
