Try reseating the tubes, if they were shipped while they were still in the sockets (honestly he shouldnt have) they might have come loose. Leave the back panel open while it's on afterward and if reseating them hasn't fixed it tap the individual tubes with the eraser end of a pencil. You should hear it through the speaker if the tubes is going/already is bad. If one isn't glowing that's an easy indicator, you might also see some black residue in the tube if it burnt up. From your description sounds like it will probably be a preamp tube.

My amp doesn't have a tube preamp, it's solid state.
Reseating did not fix the issue. When I tapped with an eraser while the amp was on I could hear some sound. Sounded like someone had a microphone inside a bottle and there was tapping on the outside :idk:
I'm not really sure what I'm listening for, I've never owned a tube amp before
The tubes are all lighting up but the glow is very dim. I know that's subjective but I feel like I've seen tubes glow brighter

You're fine there, tubes glowing white hot are under a heavy load (TWSS). Sounds like a bad tube for sure, replace all 4 with a matched quad (6L6GC's right?) but keep the ones where you didn't hear the tapping through the speaker. That way you'll have backups in a pinch. I'm not super familiar with these amps but you should probably bring it in to an amp tech to have it biased along with the tube change.

Yeah they were all 6L6GCs. I heard tapping in all of them :grumpy:
Should I complain to ebay or anything?

Hearing the tapping isn't an issue you should hear that, sorry I should have explained further (mind equated microphone to microphonic). Did any of them produce a crackling sound or feedback when it was tapped? Make sure the amp is running for a couple minutes before testing (volume close to halfway up).

ah okay. nope, no sort of feedback or crackling when I tapped the tubes. only crackles when I play guitar. it can handle very quiet single but once I pluck hard it crackles a little and fades out then I get little to no signal.
I ran the amp for maybe 2 minutes or so before tapping

Does fiddling with the instrument cable at either the guitar's jacks or the amp's jacks cause some crackling?
