In my experience, the Bluebeard always has pretty good clarity and note definition.

Right on, after working with a Megalith for a while I've been wanting a fuzz that nails chords a bit better.

In my experience all Muff variants take chords like champs - at least i like what i'm hearing. Bluebeard is a muff variant if i recall it correctly, so i would say, it will be good. And yeah, Megalith is not the first option to go with chords...

Like, so from original note to an octave below stretches over a couple of bars, instead of pretty much instantly.
Bumping to ask what expression peds work best for PS-5. Boss specs out 10k linear. The current Moog is 50k linear, but apparently its range can be reduced. Smooth going with the PS-5? (Would be handy if it is--50k is what's spec'ed for the Delaylab, too.)

Boss/Roland stuff: all spec'd for EV-5.

Okay, anyone had luck with the Moog expression ped with Boss/Roland stuff?

Suspect it'll probably work.

Weird as it sounds, I've had more luck with non-standard pedals + Roland than stuff that wanted Moog pedals +EV5.

Like the sweep on my Idiotbox Mad Doc is worthless with an EV-5. Literally, like why did I plug this thing in bad.

Yes, I've used a Moog EP-2 with a bunch of Boss pedz (SYB-5, PH-3, SL-20, RT-20) and it worked fine. You need to turn the adjustment knob down about halfway to get the range right.
