I've had some Planet Waves patches for a couple years. Never give me a problem, but the right angle plugs stick out wayyyy to far for small or tight boards. Only use them big boards with space or top-mounted jacks.

A little late to this party, but Lava go on my board, they're small, sound good, and allow you to make everything nicey-nice and fit perfectly. They are stupid expensive and an absolute pain in the ass to assemble correctly.
The Planet Waves patch cables work great where space is not an issue, and they're really flexible for all kinds of arranging. They are stupid cheap ($12 for a pack of 3) and have a lifetime warranty I believe. Still using those from the two 3-packs I bought 2 years ago, never had a hiccup.
