Same here.skullservant wrote:Dunno if I want to compete this year. I've been getting rather boring with my setups lately
Yep this. My wife is rad.Ancient Astronaught wrote:It takes alot of dedication and a seriously understanding and supportive significant other. Including those is fine.rfurtkamp wrote:Question: what about rack gear etc if it's part of the board in practice (or say an original Space Echo)
I don't think there is an official rule on that. But personally, last year I submitted my actual band board, and I'm going to do the same thing this year. Like you, there's no way I would tear down one of my boards just to make a "ringer" board for the contest, I'm way too lazy to do that.goroth wrote:Yep this. Sadly. But I've never played less guitar in all my life than the last 1.5 years (which magically coincides with the birth of my son...). I live vicariously through ILF, but thankfully I still get out and play with 2 bands.
BILF question - being new to this BILF-ing - should you submit a board that you use? Or do people construct special BILF-boards that are loaded with as much cool shit as possible? Either way I'm probably just going to submit my gig board because I fucking hate wiring up boards and I'm never going to get around to ripping down my board and building up a new one just for BILF. Hah. But yeah, is "loading" a board in or against the spirit of BILF?
The idea is to submit what you're using. But if people want to put together a special BILF version, I won't complain.goroth wrote:BILF question - being new to this BILF-ing - should you submit a board that you use? Yeah I've done a video where string noise shows up too... Wish I had my decent recording stuff around to do something better.Ancient Astronaught wrote:So I did my demo video last night.... its horribly done, and horribly cheesy... You can even hear some string noise when i start playing the black metal riffsand the video is like my delay.... lo-fi...
