I bought one of these a couple days ago on amazon cuz of this thread. Arrived today.

xbox heug. takes up like 1/4 of the space on my pedal board.
The color is more pus yellow than I had expected. really gross looking.

Sounds AWESOME.

I saw someone refin one. Probably a good idea because they fuckin ugly as fuck. I'd really like to try one though. Demos tell me they are dark and murky asf

Can someone pop theirs open and see how big the PCB is? I forget because it's been years since I had one.

Reboxing might make sense and give higher quality switches and jacks.. but would cost more than it is probably worth?

rehousing will definitely cost more than it's worth since they are so cheap :lol: great idea tho, almost did it a few months back

Jacks are probably ok, definitely replace the switch and rewire for true bypass though. Rather than rebox I would move the switch over and put another effect inside. Get some cheap dirt and have an ish poor man's RM-1N? :excellent:
