The "Trails" option lets the delays repeat until they fade away even when you turn the Delay off... It's like the R in ADSR for synths... Release or fade away...

I know I'm preaching to the choir, but MF 104m is the sexiest in the world. I had the opportunity to wank around with it a bit yesterday, and ist just plain-out-of-space-awesome!!!!!! and even has the opportunity of trails or no-trails.
