When I first read that I thought it said "Purple Dank".
I think sonidero's been hittin' the purple drank, he's a little off his game today.

Just get a rack unit with assignable outs and pre/post loops. Put whatever you want before or after the verb or take the thing out of your chain when you don't absolutely need it.
In pedals I have no idea because pedal verb is the devil.

I just had a look at all of the reverbs at Prymaxe and there's nothing there with an effects loop.
I wonder if some smart dude could mod a Melekko spring? At least the old ones were made with 3 PT2399s so it might be similar to making a regular delay with FX loop. Just put it on one of the delay lines.
To clarify the original post - it's not that shimmer is being used on shit loads of tracks (cos it's not), it's more that it's fucking everywhere on YT and people's GAS lists, and it seems every company is bringing out a shimmer, and every fucking shimmer sounds the same except for the Mooer because they were stupid enough to think that recurring fifths was a good idea, so it sounds like a shitty shimmered harmonizer. It doesn't seem to matter which pedal, or how subtle you mix it, those stupid octaves stick out in an unpleasant way.
And to the duder who posted that Devin Townsend is perhaps the only person to get away with shimmer - yep. Agreez.
If I'm going to be slightly constructive (

) I much prefer "big reverb" sounds, like the Cathedral, or the room setting on the Spring Theory. They can also be used for "ethereal" sounds, but sound much more natural.

^throw it in a TS-808-colored rack with a dumb square footswitch and it'd sell like hotcakes.
Just say it's sonically identical to the reverb plate at Electric Ladyland and you'd sell 1000 by tomorrow.

It's gotten to the point where; as I mention earlier, that if you talk about a good IDEA enough it'll be stole wise and copy smart and you've done talked your way out of a deal... Best to keep the good effects close to the heart...
