Plum Crazy fx Fuzzy Lady!!!!
A Cleanness on all the time as a clean boost/EQ
Soon, I'll have a Binary Code Elements,
And then, 1 more fuzz and 2 or 3 OD.

Wolf Computer for everything always. Sometimes I like to push a big muff variant with it for extra grumbly gut-shaking fun.

Generally, my Fuck OD (always on cleanish grity boost) -> Blackout Mantra (low gain mod gain around 50% with a slight bass boost and a healthy treble boost) If i want fuzz I'll usually run my DBA Fuzz gun into the fuck od to tame out the mega highs, The Mantra is too dark to stack in with the other two though. gets muddy balls pretty fast.

oh yeah on Bass I always used to run the Mantra as an always on grit maker (bass boosted pretty high treble left flat to soft boost. Still had to make up for it on the Amp EQ but it's just the best all around dirty Rock bass sound evarz. for fuzz I'd use 3xFx Fatman V2 by itself (has it's own dirty clean blend) if I wanted feedback I'd run all of that into a black sovtek muff. purrrrrrfect.

My go-to fuzz for 12 years and counting has been my beloved Depth Charge.

OD has changed quite a bit - mostly Darkglass B3K as always on grit spiced up with some Mountainking Behemoth, Okko Basstard, Empress Multidrive, or my Eclipse preamp.

Go-to bass dirt has now shifted to a 308 RAT with LED clipping and clean blend

Sovtek tanklike Big Muff for sing-y distortion/fuzz. McSpunkle Gnomeratron VTF for insanity. Both for the Big Stupid Wall.

Though that's only through amps. Finding that a lot of distortion isn't working for me when I go DI unless I go WHOLE HOG and just blow it out. Might be looking for a tube preamp/distortion sometime.

I've noticed the same thing. The dirt I liked DI'd the most was actually a Boss Bass Overdrive, which I actually dialed in to sound EXACTLY like my Tall Font through speakers... Weird

I have yet to find a distortion pedal that sounds good DI when I just want a little breakup, not crackle or fuzz. Irritating.

I personally find the Swollen Pickle with the Crunch cranked works best for DI bass fuzz (I add in amp models after recording).

Other than that, we're recording our demo starting day after tommorow so I'll shoot that your way when it's done (there will be copious fuck OD and Muff and probly Superfuzz).

:thumb: my man

Recorded drums yesterday. Bass is next then my guitars.

The recording dude we're working with is really good and makes my guitar sound totally sweet so I'll have some nice recordings with my dirt in a month or so (it's a 3 song demo)
I make pedals. SHARK TANK

For low-gain slightly dirty chimey boost - ARC SHO clone w/ master vol.
for low-mid to mid-gain overdrive - Fuck OD

I like to have the SHO after the Fuck in the chain, when both are on, it sounds a little like dirty heaven.
my band is called CAPTIONS.
