Re: Why Am I So Obsessed With Telecasters?
I'm not sure why you're obsessed with them, but so am I.
I was playing my Les Paul the other day and realized why I probably bought it in the first place. Most of the LPs that I've played have a real dense, focused and solid sound to them. Mine is very open and airy - like a 'big' sounding Telecaster.
No matter how I try to escape it, I don't stray far from a Telecaster.

I'm obessessed with 'em too. Don't have an actual Tele though. (Yet.) But I do have (and love the hell out of) these:
ESP Prototype (Esquire'ish Junior'ish kinda thing. Was maybe going to be a Ron Wood sig model? Paging Masked Elwood.... Sounds and plays like a dream. Great guitar.)
Brazen Dynasty given the Masked Elwood F'ed Up treatment. GFS P-90 in the neck, stacked humbucker in the bridge. Bigsby. Beyond in love with this thing.
ESP Hybrid II (Much as I think I can get rid of this thing, it just plays too dang good. And the sounds I can pull out of it with that weirdo pickup arrangement is fantastic.)
Always on the lookout for a G&L ASAT Special too....

Kosta-
I dig that Tele in the middle with the block inlays and the P-90. That's a unique piece! Cool.

Thanks man! I love it. A lot. Gibson scale & set neck too. It's badass! More info here if you're curious. : viewtopic.php?f=188&t=24979&p=417879

Dude, is that a normal Humbucker size on the hybrid 2? I can hear that guy is screaming to get a good wide-range in that there.

Yeah, normal HB in there I'm pretty sure. A wide-range would be nice though! I have WRHB's in my Toronado which also has a string-through body tail on it, and it is a match made in heaven.
