With pedal builders I find it's a lot better to just ignore what ever time constraints they put up. Saves me a whole lot of heartache.

I doubt it but would be happily surprised if they do come out by the end of the year...but if he sticks with the smaller boxes that look like the Divine Hammer, I do think that will be a mistake (but I doubt he would that either...the graphic deisgn is a big part of the Snazzy profile). I think the big boxes look pretty sweet. But he has mentioned that getting those big boxes manufactured and assembled is time consuming...
Was the divine hammer ever planned to be a production effect or have a production version? or is it like a limited thing...Snazzy mentioned to me that he was "building in batches of 10" which lead me to believe that this was a kind of a whim thing on the side...like outside of the normal production line? I could probably ask...but more just thinking outloud.
I was kind of surprised that Snazzy has only been around since 2010? That is crazy...I thought for sure that it was longer and I was just out of the loop. Kind of a short time for those three pedals to have the mystique that they have...esp. since he isn't mia or anything.

And that...yea, I feel the same way...

as I understand, this batch of divine hammers is to fund upcoming builds (re-releases and production divine hammer which will probably look as bad ass as his other ones)

Yeah, I picked up this limited edition version because it supposedly has 1 extra cv input and 1 extra gain stage (or something like that) than the production version will have.

I kind of get the feeling that his entire company is a bit of a whim-based entity.

haha...damn...I do have an instagram because of Eivind and UC now.
Gotta hashtag something on there.
Remember when that was either for people that couldn't tell numbers were numbers or just a button on a phone?
#1 shouldn't we know that is a number with out the symbol? Maybe it helps with bad hand writing? But I guess it was to signify the spoken word in short hand...like don't say "two" say "number 2". I understand it's use as an abreviation for pound though...it was just easy in production environments.
Eh, but really, the further away we get from stickers on hammond boxes in my opinion...
Oh, yea, D.o.S. I see that to a degree...but he has kept up demand (at least I think...), does speaking assignments on design, does try to do quality work, and isn't just random. (Like Seppuku was...that was pure whim it seemed...like this one has an extra switch! Don't know why...but it does.)

Rhys trained a lot of people on patience, right? haha.
Yea, timelines...eh, If it goes on for 2.5 years (like that dreamcast game I just got) I get a little mad. 2.5 years...they told me 6 weeks haha!

Yeah I should clarify -- I think a lot of Snazzy's business ideas (going all modular a few years ago, etc.) are based more on how he's feeling than anything like market research.

Oh, totally. That's why they seem like so much fun. (Never having actually seen one in person). A lot of companies do that and it makes things more interesting sometimes. Sometimes having your own business means you get to explore/do what is fun to you (sometimes not and sometimes it can ruin things too).
