Why thank you! I've always thought pink and black would look great on a guitar!

that burst one with the tort binding oh man
I love how your bursts are never perfect, it reminds me of the burst on my parlor guitar

Thank! I also like how my bursts are not "perfect" also.
I tell people that "like snowflakes, fingerprints, and people, no two nelson instruments are exactly alike or perfect"
I think that some people have become disenchanted with the "perfection" of so many instruments; especially factory made instruments.
I think if people see shading that isn't "perfect" or a little cosmetic boo boo here or there that it reminds them that human hands made their instrument and there is something really organic about that.
also with the bursts doing them by hand gives them such a warm look. It is, in my opinion, kinda like the arguments between digital and analog. Digital can be crisper and more "perfect" but while analog might have more "noise" to it, there is a richness and depth that is undeniable!

Wait, so, does this mean we're not gonna see any Nelson Instruments finished in digital camouflage patterns?

Sorry no digital camo!
Thank you, I am REALLY pleased with rustic deco! The fact that the body is chambered just puts icing on that cake!

yeah I think that's what I dig so much about finishes like that; they look like they were actually made with human hands, because they were. I'm gonna bring up my parlor guitar because I love it so much, but my favourite part about it other than how bitchin it sounds is the pencil marks on the inside. like some guy drew those on when he was building it, yknow? I dunno it just adds something to the feel of it.
keep up the good work dude and get crackin on those ukes
ever thought of doing a lap steel?

Kinda like how the inside of old martins were all dated and signed in pencil by the Martin in-charge at that time.
Funny story about the subject I was just reminded of.
When I worked at the vintage guitar store (Willie's American Guitars for those that didn't know but wanted to) there was a guy that came in with an old Matrin. He was so confused because when he put a mirror inside of his guitar to read the signature and date it was...... backwards!
How on earth could Mr. Martin write BACKWARDS AND WHY?!
I proceeded to explain to him that Mr. Martin in fact did not sign backwards but the mirror reflection made it appear backwards.
I won't beat the guy up too much as not everyone is intelligent in the spacial area...but I had to create a visual demonstration with a mirror and a box of altoids to show him how when something is facing away from you and you look at it in a mirror you see it backwards.
Poor fellow....probably went his entire life without looking in a mirror. psh!
ANYWAY, you should post a pic of your parlor, it sounds cool!
Yes I know, I will get those ukes done as soon as the acoustics and bass VIs are done!
Lapsteels? Yeeeeaaaahhhh I have a few ideas for lapsteels...so they'll be happening sometime soon as well!

If that brown guy is an FT-27, I want it wicked bad.

If you're talking about the first picture of the acoustic with the brown top, that is actually the new ft-20 (a nelson version of the old guild m-20)
The pictures of the super dark back and sides are an ft-27 and the pic of the shaded maple back is an ft-75.
The ft-20 will be my lowest priced acoustic!

What's the body size like on the FT-20?
