personally i've started to prefer bass flanger as opposed to bass chorus for some reason or another

Yup, same here. It's like chorus without the cheesiness factor. More stealth and iccceeeeyyyy.

How soon I forget what may possibly be my favorite flanger with bass demo ever. (The one I posted above of the Exar is quite probably my least favorite.)

I really love the Middle Eastern sounding opening riff in that one.

And I hate flange. But I love how flange sounds on bass. Its weird
