at this point there's already enough new or new-ish (funny...you don't look newish) things come out that have eaten my brain that i could spend enough to buy a pretty decent used car, and the most anticipated of them have dropped. the Faye's Her actually kind of frightens me with how far up my own ass i could disappear with it. i'm still mulling whether the added high end on the new Randy's Revenge is a plus or a minus, but since used ones appear as commonly as new incarnations of Tibetan lamas i'll be living with it. and the new Moog delay has actually succeeded in making the Red Llama and Endangered Audio delays seem reasonably priced...well-done for the boutique market, Moog! move them goalposts! not to mention that Warmjet that Ian at Ghost Effects is doing, with which i am absolutely OBSESSED in an unhealthy Travis Bickle kind of way. i love fuzz and filtering together, and the Warmjet demos do terrible and wonderful things to me.

Now you have all met out engineer Bob. His video is NOT the video we wanted to have come out before our official demo.

That doesn't begin to show what that pedal can do.

I was wondering, definitely didn't look like Aen. To be honest it's pretty clear from the video that it's not even showing off a fraction of what the pedal can do. When's the real demo out?

Or better yet, where's the live footage of Aen using it?

Where is the live footage, you ask? Well I had a couple beers before they went on and I just forgot. Apologies. Wife duties and work duties were neglected : (

I'll talk with the rest of the band and see if we can put up a song that features it.

Since the Randy's Revenge has the LPF, why does the high end thing make a difference? :?: And gawwwdd, the Moog delay is just not an ok price, I can't even care about anything that expensive unless it's like the timeline and completely insane with control.

Even with insane controls, it is just too much money for me. But they will probably make it successful because they are god damn MOOG.

If it was $500, I could accept it. Still might be a while before I thought about getting it, but I think a lot of people would be ok with that price.

The old version is voiced slightly warmer sounding overall. The new one's a little brighter. (At least between my two individual pedals.)

I haven't tried either in a band context, but I've a feeling the new one'll stand out a bit better in a mix.

Personally, I don't really use the high end of the range that much. So, it doesn't matter much to me.

I wish I could justify paying that price for a delay...

I'm looking forward to the Particle. I suck at making noises musical but it'll give me something to practice at anyway.

I want to see the Cygnet redesign from Iron Ether, dunno enough to say that I want to buy it, but I won't shop any trems until it hits the shelves.
