Love Bc Rich!
I used to have a cheap warlock with a sucky strat style trem, the neck was awesome but the rest... meh!
about six or so years ago i bought a mockingbird of a german webshop, it was supposed to be natural koa with neck thru but went it arrived it was a birdseye maple top and it was ugly as shit and all beat up buy the shipping. But that neck was the nicest i have ever layed hands on.

Heres my 70s eagle bass. Its uh.....not really in playable condish atm.... im going to refinish it when i get the money....might send it to neal moser to get the original electronics put back in if i have enough...if not might just get some darkstars and cut a pickguatd out of wood...we'll see. OH OR ELWOOD CAN REDO IT FOR FREE. Anyway its a koa neck and body with maple stringers and a brazilian (im pretty sure) fb. Its been repainted perhaps over seven thousand times....and when i say repainted...i mean someone just painted over the existing paint...several times. Looks like it had some kind of graphics or something at one point.

I would definitely recommend sending that Eagle to Neal, he's a great guy and I swear by his craftsmanship(I've had 4 basses made by him). His professional set up is excellent and will keep you in tune for days, he's the only one who I allow set up my basses.

These used to be mine:

Oddly this is my favorite of the bunch.... (but the rest are WICKED as well!!!) I love me some old school single pickup warlocks, Makes me wanna pop in some naglfar, ulver or darkthrone, or crank up a 5150 into a marshall cab and play reverse power chords at 220bpm.

Kayzer wrote:BC Rich is a pretty weird company if you ask me, i had mostly custom shop axes (the really evil ones) and some of those are the best metal axe ever built but unfortunately some of them are the worst i have ever played.
I am down to say that 1996-2001 Custom Riches are some of the best and 2002-2005 are some of the worst, i never played a vintage one nor the new ones with those insane list prices...

This is my custom Bich from early 2000

And here is my 2001 Virgin i picked up yesterday, still have to put some Hardware in this beast
