I mean, I did what you're about to do and I've been pretty happy with switching to synth, but I would see if you can find one you can spend a bit of time with before officially selling your bass and getting one.

well I dick around with soft synths on my putter but they are all lacking in sound quality and portability

Ahh I gotcha. It would probably be nice to be able to hear it for yourself first, but the demos sound quite promising.
& if you already put your bass up, I guess you know what you want to do. Hope it works out :thumb:

Can you run instruments into the Minitaur? I'm assuming it would only be used as a filter at that point, but a sweet, sweet filter.

I'm at a crossroads where I want this, some more pedals, and a new snare drum. I don't have money for any. Fack.

Im saying Propellerhead Reason is the king of soft synths. Im guessing you use a desktop computer though, if you are having portability issues. :(

yeah its a big Mac
I have a few ? for you about the minitaur
you have a m13 right? can you synch the minitaur to it via midi?
also have you run any stringed instruments into it?

If it's any thing like the Phatty you can run stuff through the filter and amp... It's kinda cool but it doesn't really turn a stringed instrument into a synth or anything... It takes loops and beats better...

yeah I wouldnt expect it to turn a bass into a synth I was wondering how the filter sounds hoping maybe for another demo
