PGS demos of DBA pedals are usually pretty crappy because they cant risk showing that the pedals feed back and squeal uncontrollably when you dont play or when you turn down your volume knob. Not that those are bad things if you're buying DBA pedals in the first place but they would turn off the casual buyer and PGS wont show any perceived "faults" of a pedal in their videos.

i always thought DBA stuff sounded cool, but I'd be more likely to get a clone, then buy the real thing at their prices.
Having seen the guts of some of them I'm a little put off.
So many cool sounds though.

Wheww--thread derail; averted.

Thanks for the wingman face-slap, mang.

I think I might should start another thread on that.

yah. sounds pretty cool, and the little i know of the DBA guys they seem cool (APTBS are pretty fucking awesome too), but they're way too big, all the one's i've seen linger forever at my favorite pedal store have weird physical problems, the wiring looks........ questionable....... they're WAY TOO BIG..... and so much money.
just not worth it to me. good sounding stuff though.

I have been frightened by what I've seen under the hood of some DBA stuffs, and I have been frightened by the price/performance ratio--but I gotta say, that thing looks and sounds insanely good. I wish it looked like a Spaceman FX on the inside, but no matter what its guts look like, if I find one in my price zone I'ma hit it like a Mako hittin' a fish oil drip bag hangin' from the foc'sle of a day boat outta Fenwick Island.
