Not a lot of Cosmichorus news... I really wish there was! I've just been building pedals lately though, just building and shipping, haven't done any bread boarding or anything for way over a month.

The CC is pretty much ready for another pcb layout and prototype, I just need a weekend or two to do it.

I know you've talk about it but just to remind me, will it have that super duper mega cool zombie finish??
It would be nice next to my zombie fuck overdrive.

I feel like it's pretty much a guaranteed written in stone take it to the bank put a period on that sentence fact of life that when the new CC comes out, hopefully still this year!, the first finish will be the zombies. I think we'd be crazy to do any other finish!

I know Tanya isn't doing any more vinyls and is spending more time on her own projects, but is she still doing your design?

A completely new design would be cool too... zombie is not for everyone.
I really like those sparkle CC with planet on it (made me think of Sun Ra).

But anyway I know you'll do more then a finish like all your pedals.

And it's going to be real hard to trade or sell my curent CC V2... this black sparkle vinyl finish is so awesome!
But I'll have to get the new CC.

For sure, zombies will turn some people off, but that finish is our number one most requested finish ever so we just gotta do it first! But then she'll do other ones for sure.. sparkles with planets, probably a space invader style finish, probably a home sweet home style finish.. and then probably a sparkly bubblegum pink candychorus finish for Blake.

It's seriously my favorite finish on any pedal. Ever.

You can count on a space invader finish too, we love that one! We'll do all the classic CC finishes that nobody ever got enough of.. the zombies, home sweet home, space invaders, the classic green galaxy... looking forward to seeing all of them!

I snuck in a few days of Cosmichorus work after we got home from our little holiday.. I have a new pcb layout very close to ready and have finalized (I think!) the circuit and the box layout and I think this is one kick-butt chorus pedal!

The clear knob is where the rate LED will go, looks pretty sweet...

The controls will be: Volume, Treble, Mix, Clock, Rate, Hold, the toggles will be Hold/Normal, Phase Invert, and 3 choices of Clock ranges. Expression control for Mix and Rate, stereo in and out on top with the power jack. The big LED poking through the box is the on/off LED, I've been doing all the pedals with a big LED poking through for awhile now, looks sweet as well.

I'm hoping to order the next proto pcbs next week, the layout needs double and triple checking and fine tuning but it's time to make pedals through the week...

Can't wait for this, looks amazing. The hardest part for me will be deciding if I should get one right away when they are ready, or if I should wait for the green galaxy finish (my favourite).

Looks uber sweet man...now should I get rind of the kirbychrous in lieu of this guy or hold onto the super sweet finish....tough decisions.
