ive developed a love for cymbals lately. Some give off strange harmonics that are so pleasing to my ears. especially when you move the cymbal around your ear. buying, trying, experimenting, selling. i bought a large kit, cymbal stands, cowbells, different heads, ect. but sold all that. My GF and I have been building a uber-mini kit for awhile for street performances. but i think weve come to our final drum purchase for awhile because i think its complete. unless i come across a cheap drumbal.

Any electric piano, free craigslist piano, my own Cello to replace the schools rented one once the year is out.
Realistically, I'm probably going to stick with guitars considering I'm in 2 really good bands right now both with guitars

i have a melodica which i really ought to get out and play more often. as you might imagine from my nom du poste i bought it to get my Augustus Pablo on (as i suppose most people do either directly or indirectly via Damon of Blur/Gorillaz), but tend to play it like a saxophone instead. playing the keyboard sideways is weird...i had a button melodica years ago which i found easier to play, but the tone is inferior.
i've been looking for a good toy piano for years.

apparently it's really hard to learn to play one of those. recently read an article about how the instrument is dying due to a lack of players/interest.
