Nice!

I especially like the tones you get at about the 2:00 mark on the first video..very Buckethead influenced, I'm guessing?

Probably

Those rogue sound names are so confusing.
I've got a zonk and a meathead on the way so I guess I won't be confusing those two again.

Ah ok

I just meant the muted, kinda atonal stuff you were doing with the musket/Photron combo there..sounded like some of the stuff from Cuckoo Clocks from Hell.

haha thanks guys, the frostbite is indeed an awesome flanger and i have probably never heard that much low end on a pedal before, better watch for your speakers when you get one! ;-)

30 Pedals in 30 Days - Day 14 - RAILhead Effects - TUA (Total Utter Annihilation)
I just realized that "30 Pedals in 30 Days" is missing some serious brutal shit!
Here we go with a dual video update for the RAILhead effects TUA (Total Utter Annihilation)
First of all i have to mention that i had a though time to capture the tight low end of this pedal with the Q3, the TUA y has more bass than in my demo...
This pedal offers a rediciolous amount of gain, i am normaly not turning in that much gain but keep in mind i have high output pickups and love a more dry and gritty tone just there where the palm mutes start to ring out...
This Beast can handle pretty much everything brutal from new Deathcore shit to old school ice pick black metal and i tried to cover a wide array of metal styles in this demo! Finally a pedal with a price tag thats not a bummer, 140$ seems to be a steal for such a monster...
...i know i suck for not putting it between the Openhaus and Dominator for a comparsion but time is my enemy and i am already behind on my schedule on my 30 days Odyssee. I will do that comparsion in the future...!
Video 1 is done with my 6 string ESP loaded with EMG81 pickups and tuned to dropped C
Video 2 is done with my 7 string Rico loaded with BKP Warpigs and tuned to dropped C with a low G ontop!

Sweet...never heard of that one before. Eager to see what you think vs the dominator/openhaus.
Not to totally derail but how do you like the warpig on lower tuning/7string stuff?
I was thinking I'd setup a baritone LP with a c-pig in the bridge.

30 Pedals in 30 Days - Day 15 - The Fuzz-Stang
The Fuzz Stang is a clone of the very rare Sam Ash Fuzz-Stainer.
Matt from Portland Guitar Repair was so kind to analyze the original circuit and making us Pedal Freaks happy with the Fuzz-Stang since the original Fuzz-Stainer is one of the unobtanium FX Pedals out there...
Mine hit Germany a week ago and is Number 27 out of a batch limited to 100!
The Fuzz Stang is best to describe as ultra compressed fuzz but it can deliver serious amounts of sustaining leads with the gain knob set high, backing the gain knob slightly back to normal ends up in some very nice trumpet sounds.
A wide array of unique fuzzy sounds is availible in this little box and i really dig it. Lets hope that the Fuzz Stang wont be the only pedal Matt is saving from beeing forgotten!

30 Pedals in 30 Days - Day 16 - ZVEX - Ringtone
The Ringtone from ZVEX is in my opinion an underrated aswell as miss understood pedal when i see recent youtube demos.
Mostly used for random noise, sold on ebay and whatnot! I also count to these guys since i needed a year do discover its full potential...
BUT when tweaked right it can cover Goatkeeper territory with sequenced Tremolo sounds, do arpeggiator stuff on higher ring mod pitch settings, has tap tempo, it also does the standard ring mod sounds pretty good and offers normal tremolo and on top it can still do all the noises ;-)
I had the best sound results with single coils most of my humbuckers distorted more than usual with the Ringtone...
Check it, Electro Sequencing VS ambient sequence trem sounds, epic is epic ;-)
