I only had a little while to play with Plaits so far, and I haven't even gotten into the manual yet, but damn does it sound good. So versatile too.

Idk what sequencer to pair it with. I got over using my Metropolis for everything but I'm missing that immediacy and ease of workflow.

What are y'all sequencing it with?

huge fan of the FLXS. what i do most all my melodic sequencing with?

or the DT through Shuttle Control. although my SC has been weird. need to hit up Endorphies.

also, was going to get a second Pam's, but i want to try the Drezno. so. she's inbound.

I'm going to sell my Pretty Years #1 for an intelijel case + other stuff. :zen:

...I just haven't gotten around to it because my guitar lawnmower noises would suffer as a result. But it's going to happen because I really only use the PY as a clean preamp, and so I will replace it with a Keeley Tonestation. Which sounds like sacrilege now that I've typed it out.

EDIT: This is where I am thinking of going as of now. There's also going to be a Beatstep Pro up in there. Or I will get something to interface my Ipad to the modular. :snax:

If you get an Intellijel case, pick up a 1U Midi module. Might need to Google around and see if anyone is sequencing with Ipad through it.... maybe I need to look into that myself. Haha

EDIT: Didn't see the hidden photo. My bad.

I would recommend adding some sort of mixer in there, because you'll need it.

It's actually a pretty cool synth, for what will be mainstream affordable modular. I think at $299 it could join the likes of microkorg, minibrute etc as a renowned starter synth. I do like it better than the M32 at least.

The knobs and buttons make it look similar to the Roland FX modules. Made for mix & match with them and mother 32 most likely...or they're cooking up something similar...

Yeah, this looks insanely cool. Definitely planning on getting this with my tax return

With the exception of the BIA and the VCAs, I have all of those modules in my rack as well, so, I approve of these choices

You might want some more LFO modulation in there (yes, Maths, I know), but Batumi is only 10hp and has a shitload of I/O. The Poti expander is a nice-to-have, but not a requirement by any means.

The Quadratt can work as a mixer but it has many other uses. A small dedicated mixer could still be useful. You can do some attenuversion with Maths too so it might be ok...

Maybe replace the second vca with an lxd or a mengqi LPG for some variety. Or an optomix/dynamix for the mixing stuffs. I think lxd is better though.

And ring mod....(or bipolar vca)

I'm very curious about the Drezno and Lipsk. Excited to see what you think!
