I built one of the recently traced and cloned Dinosaural Tube Bender that's been going around and it sounds really great. It's a solid distortion circuit with totally normal parts, quick to build, a++.

Nice build! Yeah, you don't get much pitch bend with the delay time set short. The warp function drops the delay time to minimum, so if it's already set pretty short, there's not much to "expand" back to, if that makes sense. :thumb:

Finished up the Double Cross. Two Rats under one roof, with lots of options.

 :excellent: Amazing!! Want!

What are the "Lube" knobs though? And those diodes  ??? "M(other)F(ucking) GE(rmaniums)" ?

I boxed up some stuff.

The SG-1 is a Slow Gear (pedalpcb) - strange thing.
And the Destructor is a Great Destroyer with an extra knob (Fuzzdog) - totally crazy and wonderful. Can do motorboat, 80ies Arcade and about 1 zillion other crazy sounds.

Improbability Drive (Fuzzdog) - another pretty crazy pedal. I used to have the Infanem, but sold it a while ago. This seems to cope those sounds pretty well.
Sasquatch - I forgot where I got the PCB, it has been a while. But oh boy, this sounds amazing.
It's a Green Ringer and a modified Muff with a very powerful Bax tone stack and LED clipping. I put 2 Tesla KC507 in there.

It's coming soon, in a limited edition run. Black and gold board, with an LH2108 included.

"LUBE" is the Reutz mod. I borrowed the term from Beavis Audio. It's a 1K pot in series with the 47 ohm resistor in the feedback gain part of the circuit. A softening agent if you will. Full CCW is stock, and the "Lube" goes up from there.

The diodes are Russian D18 germaniums. "MF GE" = MOSFET/Germanium clipping inside of the feedback loop. That switch also offers LED feedback clipping, or nothing (stock) in the middle position.

Thanks for the explanations !!!

(And damn, I need to jump on this!)

Nothing as sexy as what's been posted above but one has to start somewhere... It's kinda a pic of an empty enclosure!
Anyway, always liked the look of these stutters but they end up costing a bit too much for what they are/do once they have reached the other side of the pond, so I thought I would build one. Added a volume pot to keep some of the signal when the key is pressed in mode 1. mode 2 is like the original.

Looks great!!! I dispute that claim about the relative sexiness.

Mechanical sexy. Yes. Would love to see that gimmick on a different effect, like a Raptio.
