Dfam/Euclidean circles/Matter is an insane combination of drum synth sounds. Loving this.
I’ll put a clip up in the next couple days. Maybe a full system shot too..

hurm. looks like my second Plaits will go out with the next batch DetMod gets in, s'posed to be early May. oh well.
they have the Vintage Black Precision Adders in stock next week, then one will ship towards me.
i have some stuff i'm on the fence about in my rack, if i move it i would have 20 hp space. i think..... i would want another Branches and Pam's.
is it silly to have 2? i like her a LOT for clocking everything like Voltage Blocks, Trigger Riot, Batumi, FLXS1, DLD, Digitakt etc.... awesome as the main clockideedoo.
but that takes up 5 of her outs, if i want to have separate clock options going to each.
and i LOVE using her for time sync'd LFO's and envelopes or gate patterns for osc VCA's. sometimes it feels like 3 outs for those isn't really enough.

Does anyone here have both Mikrophonie and Ears ?
If so, do you know if there is a difference in sound between them when using the module as an overdrive/distortion ? I know both circuits are open hardware but I can only read code, not circuits

.
I'm, considering an upgrade to an Ears at some point because the envelope follower/gate extraction is useful but I really like how Mikrophonie distorts

No Plaits til May for me

But muh Plaits comes 20% off, which is nice. To be honest I'd rather have the module than cash back, but it seems scarcity has made my decision for me. Good thing I didn't sell my Plonk/Rings yet

FWIW Plaits plus Rings is pretty dang fun.

So...Behringer Neutron?
It's actually a pretty cool synth, for what will be mainstream affordable modular. I think at $299 it could join the likes of microkorg, minibrute etc as a renowned starter synth. I do like it better than the M32 at least.
The knobs and buttons make it look similar to the Roland FX modules. Made for mix & match with them and mother 32 most likely...or they're cooking up something similar...

Ears distorts almost everything I put into it. I've actually been thinking of replacing it with a Sewastapol II for that reason. BUT I can see why that'd be desirable.
uBurst is in and now my case is almost filled..
https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/343551

next on the list are VCAs and Attenuverters (they gotta be black tho). then I will probably build a case for my SV-1 and fill the top row with some crazier shit

I want a 4ms SMR, Mangrove and Three Sisters soooo baaad but that's probably another income tax season away he he
