This is intriguing. How does it work for you completely without controls? Personally I'm a big fan of simplified a layout. PU selector & volume knob seem indispensable to me though.

I didn't actually. I got the body in the condition you see for $65 off of eBay. It's supposedly a WD Music alder body that's been relic'd and seemingly relic'd corectly. It was glossy at some point but it looks like the whole body was sanded down with medium high grit sandpaper to give it that matte appearance.

Baller. It looks bad-ass.
Too bad it sucks without a neck pickup

So I realised I always played with both pickups on and I always play with them full volume. For me I usually just have one setting on a guitar I like so this way it's always on that setting. Also there is absolutely nothing to bump and nothing to short out on the road so it's perfect

She sounds BIG! A little bright but that might just be the all new strings on it. My wrist is killing me right now and I'm about to go fire it up again. Looks like I'll be selling the strat 12 I made as I don't need it anymore

I meant to ask- how do your guitars hold up with 12 strings on them? I always get nervous about string tension for whatever reason and was just curious if you've ever had an issue
