Damn, that Mangel Wurzel PCB stacking is slick!

Here's a Ghost Effects Warmjet V PCB, which is a modded version of the WEM Project V. I decided to put both Bias controls on the outside (Gain & Texture).

I also went for all the MOAR BASS suggestions of the build doc mods.
And while testing I tried a GE (AC128) in the slot of the only SI PNP ... and oh boy, the pedal just kinda woke up and roared, so I left the GE.

One more thing: as I used a big ol' 8mm LED for first time and didn't know what CLR might be a good choice, I just installed a trimmer. Fancy, innit?

Here's a clone of the Crowther Prunes & Custard, which I didn't expect to be so crazy but it truly is. Very loud and abrasive but can also be tamed down to an overdrive type sound. Looking forward to try it with bass, I hear that's a thing. The weird design didn't allow for labeling of the bass/guitar and contour switches but whatevs. Also finally got to use these MIJ Alco knobs, just needed the correct size (1.5mil) hex key to fasten them.

Ohhh, that PnC looks great! Funny thing is, I recently finished one of those (on a Fuzzdog PCB) and also went kinda "ah, whatever, fuck it" regarding the labels for the switches, as I couldn't be bothered to figure out for sure which is what and stuff ...
Also, your sound description is spot on - and I can confirm, that it's great on bass.
But actually, I came here to show off another Deadend FX build, the SOLARIS (Spaceman Polaris). I really dig the black'n'white look for a change. And jewel lights are always great!
Sounds pretty rad too.

The quest officially comes to an end. Here's the last piece of the Schumann empire, the FLoop. Reworked into the Dead End FX "Tatiana", in honor of Tati T., who was gracious enough to spring one loose to us for a trace.







Contrary to all the other Schumann circuits, we did away with the 12VAC supply norm, and changed it over to a 9VDC, LT1054 powered bipolar unit. It worked great for the Grimafuzz, so we rolled with it. Besides, the original was only running at around +/-9v anayway, so we didn't see the point for all the regulators.

Running our Misty Cave clone (Charonium) is the coolest, and most ethereal thing I've experienced in a long time. Too cool for words.

Here's a CultureJam Neptune delayer followed by F. Lyxzén's Active Tilt EQ.

This Neptune is the best delay I've built so far, excellent seasick warp function. Very quick delay times are not possible though, maybe because the warp doesn't work in that range, but I don't usually live in that area anyway. Did manage to make it self-oscillating tho. Not the neatest interior, had to extend few wires that were too short.

The EQ turned out having a bit of gain to it, don't know how... but replacing the TL072 with a TL062 made the break-up more pleasant, like a fine grit overdrive. Not what I intended but not a bad sound either.
