I have a question: For personal amusement more than anything else, I was considering whether it was possible to grab a 4x12 and convert it into a 2x15 by building a new front panel and changing the wiring.

Anyone done anything similar?

i think thats possible

Hey Nick, happy birthday! Aeries rules!
Ryan, that was gold.
Captain, should be a straight up front baffle swap.
Mudfuzz, that is one sexy Burny.
There was some other stuff in there....
Everyone else, happy easter! Or, happy omnipresent chocolate bunny day!

I've never had issues with Mesa Dual Rec's, the guitarist in a grindcore band I used to play in used a triple rec (along with a block letter 5150) and I thought it sounded great :idk: I've definitely seen my fair share of daddy bought Mesa's used in metalcore bands that sounded horrible but in the right hands they sound great. Doesn't the Singer / Guitarist in ASG use one?

Indeed. They both use some sort of recto and have really good tone. I'm pumped about their new album.

And anyone that hasn't seen it on my Facebook page, here are a couple of little looping videos I did that also showed the rest of my gear. The sound quality is bad because of the microphone on my smartphone breaking up, but I was happy with them.

I think these electric cabs are the same size as a 4x12.

On the website it straight up says it is. Well spotted sir. I could almost go a purple amp/cab, but I dunno, the orange and green are way cooler.

EDIT (features massive nerd alert): Walking dead finale and game of thrones premiere tonight! Prioritise that shit. You can't.
