Just found out this morning the strangest line of coincidences.

I met a friend of the girl I'm dating the other day and I was convinced I knew her already even though she is from out of state. Well I do. She's my friend's girlfriend's cousin, and I did meet her before.

Not just that though. when I told my friend the name of the girl I'm seeing, she remembered her. She met her once out at a bar a long time ago. And I was with her. So I met her a long time ago. Forgot all about her. Met her again when she started working for the same company I work for at night. And now we're dating.

That's a nice story, but there's no such thing as coincidences.

Is there anything that causes an elongated perception of time? Like a condition or something?

The older I get the slower time goes by. Even when I'm enjoying myself and time is "passing quickly" it's really only relatively quickly. I'll still feel like more time has gone by than actually has. I sort of estimate that I feel like each day is 4 days long. I remember when I was still in school a few years ago estimating that it was 3.

I thought the opposite was supposed to be true, that time seems to pass more quickly as we get older.
