murrrrrr but i don't WANNA program anything dabnabit. i like my setup a lot now, FLXS is a good outlet for more structured planned out thingies, the rest is more random butts.
SKEERED of Monome stuff.
...... do want an Ansible and that weighted rotary knob thinger.

how do they sound in the effects loop of a delay?
The real question is : how does a delay sound in the external feedback input of an Ultrafold that is in the feedback loop of that delay ?
Probably taking this too literally, but I did just that. I've always found that the DLD likes to feedback easily if something is in the loop, but I think this turned out pretty nicely: https://instagram.com/p/BgMQEzTDFFA/

verrrrrry cool suh.

Tank youhs. I'm gonna have to come back to that with something that's really slow because it actually makes some really nice evolving textures. Long story short. Get an ultra fold. Also, it makes for a lovely patch when you put audio in to Rings in to the Ultrafold.

Nothing to program unless you get a Teletype...for the millionth time Behndy

I WILL NEVER LISTEN TO YOU ABOUT THIS.
...... lol. even if i can't keep which modules are which, i KNOW i can't let myself start down that road right now. i'm super digging what i have right now, just trying to fine tune it, not embark down ANOTHER Road Of Awesomeness right now.
case in point - my Digitakt has stopped communicating reliably with my Shuttle Butts. haven't gotten around to emailing Endorphin's about it, just been having a blast with the 12u of stuff.

Re-arranged my case yesterday, made a nice spot for the Plaits that PCA is sending me.....someday......eventually?
There's no hope for aesthetically pleasing modules unless you get a shared-type of system (usually) but I cleaned things up a bit and did some droning today:
The real question is : how does a delay sound in the external feedback input of an Ultrafold that is in the feedback loop of that delay ?
Probably taking this too literally, but I did just that. I've always found that the DLD likes to feedback easily if something is in the loop, but I think this turned out pretty nicely: https://instagram.com/p/BgMQEzTDFFA/
That was meant to be taken quite literally .
You can get really nice evolving feedback loops going on that way, as you saw/heard... The feedback input of the Ultrafold is great, especially when you have it CV-controlled and set so that the external signal just comes in when the CV is high enough.

Yeah, I actually threw the ultra fold through a low pass filter after I did the video so I could tame the high end a bit and it's really nice. Perfect opportunity to setup a nice drone sequence where I think it'll really shine.
Should also say thanks for the inspiration!

Yup, having both folds and gain controls is great for getting sweet spots when doing that. And the bias control (wave shift) can give you super useful variations too.
Basically, I really, really like the Ultrafold . Most people here seem to have a similar opinion, I think the fact that we're on ILoveFuzz and not MuffWiggler explains a few things .

Plaits should be here tomorrow, could be the last time i use the Rings for..... Ring'y stuff. still want to check out the alt modes and the reverb.
also, why do people take so LONG to respond to pm's on Muffs? i just want to BUY YOUR THINGS. and/or trade. get back at me you silly billies.

You don't use the external input for Rings ?
That's what makes the module really interesting for me, it's a great mix of effects processor and sound generator. And you get much more subtle control over dynamics/volume that way (from the amplitude of the signal you feed Rings).

Also, what are those white stackable-like cables (on the left side in your video) ?

jia. i mean, i have used it. just not a buttload. i like it more as a stringed thingy? should explore that moreeeee.
love 'em. the color selection is the same as the Black Market Modular cables that i use, the shade is a tiny bit off but i can color code lengths with both brands. so. yurp. NEAT.

My Plaits still hasn't shipped from DetMod I ordered when it said "delivery by early March", but now their site says "Delivery by late May", hoping I didn't get bumped to that later delivery since it seems most other people's has shipped from Detroit? Hopefully they get back to me soon. That'd be mega donkey butts if I got bumped to a later date.
Anywho, I am in love with Rene. It's a freakin powerhouse and the gates make it so easy to transform a stale sequence into something far more rhythmically interesting. I've basically got an entire Shared System Plus now, minus the Echophon and the way the Make Noise stuff works together is just super inspiring. Last night I made some video game music using the DPO and 0-coast as my primary sound sources. The DPO can go from very nice and friendly to disgusting, hairy, and overblown with just a few knob turns which I love. Can't wait to hear what you do with your shared system Antlerface!!
