Nearly 22h in Ground Zeroes, I'm not even going for challenges or trophies.

EDIT:
Started to play the free trial of Beyond Earth then decided to play 6 hours of Civ 5 instead.

It looks better on an old TV where the pixels fuzz out a bit but basically yeah they are. In that game the painted backgrounds are gorgeous but the characters look pretty horrible. Entirely playable and clear what's happening though.

I was doing a play through about 2.5 years ago and I don't remember it being that bad. Damn.

It really is a million times better looking on a CRT though.
You see it too clearly through emulators or whatever, it needs the dithering.

Yeah, people too often forget that while talking about how bad old games' graphics are. They weren't designed for computer monitors or modern TVs. It's why I still keep a CRT hanging around, when I get that itch to play old stuff it looks so much nicer.
