Here's the other old school thing, as I got 2 of those phenolic PCBs: Barnes and Mullins (B&M) Champion Fuzz Unit.

Again, I went with a standard enclosure, having 9V and a pilot light, while keeping the school vibe to the PCB.

Sounds glorious on bass, there seems to be some clean coming through, which I ike, and on top of that the tone knob can boost some serious low end.

Life pedal clone with a custom control panel and styled closer to the Ace Fuzz Master with the controls on the back.

that is hot. I love that style enclosure.

Just out of curiosity, how do you like the PCB? I've read some grumbling that the switches and pots positioning/order wasn't intuitive.

The intended layout is not aesthetically pleasing and its an unnecessarily large PCB for what’s on it. Dude makes a normal 125B size board that I would use if I wanted to make a couple more of these to use up the extra few faceplates I made. I think the octave switch throws things off because otherwise its basically two pedals in one and both switches are bypasses.

I've recently gotten into building some guitar effects. Here is my Cup O' Meat Fuzz. It uses AC128 transistors, and it's schematic was based off of a fuzz factory, but with a rotary switch that chooses between 3 different modes: Octave down, bass boost, and a more standard fuzz sound.
1. Choose cup
2. Add juice
3. Add meat

If anyone is interested, Id be happy to share schematics!

Hi guys! I want to show you my first case for the future pedal, inside there will be a mini bomb board. If I wrote crookedly ask what exactly. I'm from Russia :joy:

Validation build of the DEFX Definitphase. This is a clone of the Prophecysound Infinitphase. Many thanks to Mike Both (again!) on this build, he fed me a ton of info. This is a fully loaded build, complete with;
- Sample/Hold
- Stereo output
- Footswitch LFO rate doubler
- Footswitch 4/8 stage select
- Expression pedal input jacks for Rate, Depth, and Range.
- Expression pedal input jack for Phase Center, which allows for direct phase control

The only major change we've made is to replace the quad set of red LED's for the LDR's, with a single 10mm green LED. We stole that page from the Spaceman phaser. Hence the name "Definitphase", 'cuz it'll be the last phaser you'll ever need. Needless to say, it sounds awesome.

When are those board sets going to be available? I had a pair of Infinitphases back in the HCFX days and I wouldn't mind building one out for my board nowadays.

Probably about 3 weeks or so. We has some minor corrections and tweaks to make to the boards, so we're pressing a new set.

As I like the convenience of a 9V power supply and a pilot light, I used a foot switch PCB to get that.

Sounds really great, not a ton of volume on tap, but enough. I might still check out what jumpering that last resistor will bring.

Today I have finished my last build of 2019, a very entertaining (in the brief time I've had with it) clone of a Noise Swash.

What I particularly like is that despite the pots and switches having fairly clearly defined roles, it's quite difficult to predict what effect turning one knob or flicking one switch will have on the overall sound.

Here's a pre-wiring interior and a finished outer shot.

Thanks. And nah, that is printed on water decal paper and then some clear coat.
