Hey Angelo!
I use FL Studio or Ableton to send out tempos to a Midi Splitter / Thru Box which has single lines out to my board, electribe2, and I was hoping to send one as well to the Otto as well as have a preset box for the Otto.
That will work. Especially if you set FL Studio or Ableton to send Program Change messages and Expression Pedal data (CC #4)
Awesome! so to be clear, and sorry for needing it specifically laid out, if I grab a DMC-4 I could use it as a preset box for the Ottobit AND still have it receive tempo for the Ottobiy THRU the DMC4 so that my whole rig stays in time?
That should work, but that is more of a question for Disaster Area Designs. From the DMC-4 manual "MIDI Input: The MIDI output jack doubles as a MIDI input using a Disaster Area MIDI Y-cable (sold separately.) The MIDI input allows the DMC Gen3 to accept incoming MIDI messages and merge them in with its own data stream." I have a DMC-4, but I don't have their Y-cable to test it out for you.
The Ottobit Jr. will certainly handle the MIDI messages in its input, so if the DMC-4 handles the merge you should be good to go. It wouldn't hurt to contact them to be sure, though.
I just got a Mercury7 last friday and I love it! Amazing pedal. I still have to fully implement it in my live setup (especially for the ambient stuf I do), but only using the Mercury and a looper I was able to create wonderful soundscapes! And with the Space Decay on full you can play a note and the let the pedal do the rest... still after 2 minutes doing nothing the reverb was still ringing and won't stop.. !!!
And the Pitch Down shift is EVIL: a subwoofer killer!
Brilliant!
Who has completed the Meris trifecta? I've got an order in for the Ottobit Jr., but it's not supposed to be fulfilled until the end of the month. I'm also curious what the new Meris device will be (drive pedal, modulation device, something else?).

Got the trifecta, love the trifecta! These pedals are just unbelievable, unfortunately I haven't had enough time to properly dive into them yet but just scratching the surface they have proven themselves to be forever-pedals.
Keen as beans for the new device, hopefully it's announced soon!

I had the three at once and I let all of them go due to the fact that I could get what I wanted better out of other pedals. The Ottobit is the only one I can't replicate, but honestly, the best thing on that pedal is the filter The steps are at sometimes uncontrollable for me. I think I just don't understand them sometimes. I tweak and tweak and I couldn't jive with them. They are all great pedals though and if I could own everything, I'd still have them all.
Also, for fucks sake I hope it's not a fucking drive pedal. If they bring out a drive, I've lost faith in the pedal community. I'm so sick of watered down bs that sounds the same as everything else. Ugh. Please, let it rest for awhile builders, fuck.
All their other stuff seems so otherworldly I just don't know how they'd pull off that same vibe with a drive. I mean yeah it'll probably be ridiculously tweakable but w/e...
