With mudbuckers they sounds super awesome. Really, really dark. Very much a one-trick pony, but they can do what they do better than almost anyone else.
good deals are here.

Can someone recommend a power supply for me? The main problem children are my TimeLine, DL4, and incoming BlueSky (thanks jwar ). I also need to power a Fuck, Mini, Count to 5, and tuner (and maybe a Whammy V if I can squeeze it in). I need it to fit under a Pedaltrain PT-2. Any suggestions? I have a BBE Supa Charger that works fine, but I am using wall warts for my TimeLine and DL4, and I'd rather just use one isolated supply.

Cioks is pricey but as far as I am concerned the endgame. I got a DC-10 and it covers all of my needs, save for the Moisturizer (bc AC) but since I don't use that live it's not an issue. Not sure about the DL-4 and what it needs to see, but the Strymons should be covered.

I think I want a second bass

but I'm not talking just instrument needs. I'm talking really specific aesthetic as well. Does anyone else get really inspired by looks of things?

this exact looking bass

I think it would sound utter crap in a band context but I liked it on it's own. I also liked the EB-3, but the long scale narrow neck was sort of strange to play. It seemed better proportioned on the short scale model.
Anyone know how those guys hold their ground with fuzz?
You pull out the useless factory pickup that while looks like a mudbucker isn't and you put a real mudbucker in [vintage or Curtis Novak are your only choices, everything else is lies] or a Dimarzio model one [Mike Watt has used these from time to time] which are a more normal sounding pickup than a mudbucker…

Yeah I'd rock that bass in a heartbeat, even though I'm more into Jaguar shaped and dark wood fretboards.

Yeah. That's the stuff. I just got some new pickups for my Jag bass yesterday. Some EMG Geezer Butler P/J passives with solder less connection. Just waiting on some control knobs before I can fit them. The knobs that are on them now are splined but the new pickup kit has pots that have solid shaft that accept set screw knobs.

I think that I realized that enjoy playing with only about 3-4 pedals rather than a mattress sized board or even like 7+ boxes. It must be some acquisition guilt complex about having stuff...

Then again, all anyone ever really needs is a delay and an Elements :idk:

Dude is one thing I miss about TBFX, for sure.

I really like the way the Roger Waters P-Bass looks. Not in any rush to pick one up, but it's definitely proper.

Yeah man. I've never gone above 7 because being poor and not wanting to buy cheap crap I know I won't dig after a little. Now I'm at 5 and it's perfect, could even drop another one without missing it at all. I can't handle all the distractions. It ends up distracting me from riffs. I do think if I had more freetime/music time then I could handle it more because I'd spend more time with it all.
