Shit goes down so easy you don't even realize you're drunk until it's waaay too late. Runnig off of two right now and I'm pretty good. Worst hangovers though, and after enough the meer smeel of it is nauseating, yet alone the taste of more.

The only hangovers I've ever had are because of cigarettes. I could drink all the booze in the universe as long as I ate something before I went to bed and I'd be fine the next day. Running errands, getting shit done, being a real-ass human being... But if I smoked half a pack of cigarettes the night before, I'd be a useless wreck popping ibuprofen and nursing Gatorade.

Are you more of a drunk smoker? I smoke regularly about 12-15 a day, and it comes naturally to smoke so any hangover i get i dont relate it at all to cigs. Food I totally get though, I get hangovers fairly often because I have such a hectic schedule that I have a hard time getting full meals in before I drink heavily to forget said stress

Dude. I smoke 2-4 cigarettes a day now (used to be 15-20 a few years back). And I hate it so much more now than I did then. I just can't kick it. But when I'm drinking, it occasionally gets out of control. Sometimes I'll do a pack in one night... Forget about it. Sick as a dog the next day.

Also, I wish Milwaukee had all night delis where we could get a sandwich and a 12 pack at 2 AM. We can't buy any alcohol past 9 and our sandwich game is WEAK unless you love Jimmy John's. NYC 4 LYFE.

Yeah, smoking is something I've come to hate. I mean, I enjoy it, but knowing I'm so addicted to something and smoking to need it is totally different than being able to smoke socially and not crave it at all afterwards. Want to revert back to 2-4 a day, but each one seems like it's absolutely neccesary. I saw an interesting photo of 10 cigarettes that have prints on them stating when you need a cigarette most. I'll try to find it.

As someone who used to smoke, and had been a social smoker at other times, I totally notice the difference in hangovers (or lack thereof) when I've been smoking.

Man, benzos and writing are a good combo. I just need to lock myself up with a bunch of weed, klonopin and some wheat beer and I'll have this (no longer) short story I've started today done in no time.

But I really want to turn it into a pseudo-one man radio play for live performance where I accompany myself with sparse atmospheric guitar. The whole thing has a pulp/noire/thriller vibe to it so it would be really cool.

I'm so happy that this idea just came into my head today and I started rolling with it. Tomorrow I'll actually have the chance to begin experimenting with the music.
