funny you should ask they are WRHB in a Jazzmaster size from Curtis Novak. I had built that up for a Guy who just swapped them out for p-90's. I put them in mine and just swapped them out to put Antiquity I's in so I have a direct backup to the Black JM-1 in my arsenal. I Just put them up for sale on
http://www.offsetguitars.comIf anyone wants them here let me know I can put them up I put them there for $250 they sell for 300+ and are made to order. they take a month or 2 to get done . They were put in and were never gigged. The covers were relic'd a bit. The sonic blue JM is alder not ash so I oped to go back. I use Flats 2.... It all conspired. I built the Blue M it to have a broken string guitar not a totally different sound. They bite though :-)
Either way they are cool If they don't sell I'll build another for them this time ash with a maple board with black block.. wait maybe I shouldn't sell them LOL... Tell me if I should put them up here
Note I never cut the leads as it was a trial..

Thanks The Black Jazzy is my favorite. Plays like a dream. The tele is just amazing too. The strat has the best neck on a strat I have ever played. The other Jazzy is OK.. I have to change the body to ash and re group on that one..
OH looks like the novak WR-JM pickups have sold on another forum so I retract the offer to post here although there was no interest LOL

No its not you.. I was doing it black and as I was relic ing it I was listening to Watt and a bunch of Wilco..and started up conversations with woody... He had sent me a bunch of private shots of Nels' guitar and one thing lead to another so I decided to tribute Nels with this. I went deep but have sine made it mine only the body and the Mastery (which is on every offest i own) remain as a nels thing although it has duncan antiquities which he uses. I use Flat 11's he uses rounds.. He can play like a godlike banshee I cannot ROFL...
So yes it is like a Nels' guitar.. I jsut built a pedal for him and am giving it to him on the 15th when he plays with a few of my friends in NYC...

I've never been a huge Wilco fan, but Nels is such a friendly guy, I can't imagine anyone not liking him. Awesome you built him something too!

How about Nels with Mike Watt? I know there are many who don't get Wilco. I fall on the side of Jeff Tweedy being one of the greatest living American song writers. I listen to Reverb Psychedelic, classic Rock, Bluegrass, Opera EVERYTHING... I am typically not into pop or things that EVERYONE gets faddy about. Jeff's ability to write prose and poetry with music that goes every which way is ultra refresshing... Paired that with a virtioso Guitar, Keys, Drums, Solid bass, full range instrumentals and tight tight vocal support He has the freedom to be a singer songwriter without bounds... THey are a joy...
Most everyone who says I never got into wilco only has to make an effort to get into Wilco. I was one of them. I though tthey were OK.. but everyone who;s musical opinions I respected the most had them in the retop 5 or better so one day I took Yankee Hotel Foxtrot and listened for a couple of days... It happened. They are now conceivably my favorite Band playing today. If I were recomending a record to explore it would be A Ghost is Born or Yankee Hotel Foxtrot..
End Opinionated and self righteous music rant :-)
