i was sitting here plonking around on the computer when i heard a knock on the door, and it turned out to be a guy who wants to buy the horse trailer that my ex left here when she moved out. it's a piece of junk, but he seems incredibly happy to get it for $300, and i'm delighted because otherwise i was going to have to pay to dispose of it. more relocation funds without selling another instrument!

and then i hooked up the rack-mount gear, which i haven't used in awhile, to the rest of the boards and got the most wonderful endless floating reverb by using the RV-3, Ghost Echo, the two Yamahas ganged together for reverse 'verb, the Rane rackmount compressor, and the #45 setting on the MidiVerb II ALL AT ONCE. a single note would hang for 20 seconds, and it made a lovely loop.

Yesterday I jammed with two friends, we just played really nice chilled out post-rock-y jams and it was so fun! First time I've played with people that played modern music and not covers in a long time.
