I now have a trem arm for my '69 Mustang, and shockingly my local vintage guitar store had a '60s Mustang case (but no guitar), so I now have a period-correct case for it!

Kate's mother bought me groceries and told me that if they could help in any way, they would.
I might not have close friends or blood family I can count on, but I've definitely got family.
I'm so incredibly lucky to have them.

I know that I have an album's worth of life in me. One masterpiece. I have to.
I just have to find a way to get it out.

I feel exactly like that.
I've written several half-albums. Have 4/5 of the band, possibly all of it. It just has to not suck

Still more than 10 hours away but i'm already anticipating the happy rehearsal and jam feeling

After today I think I can definitely say that things are going to be ok

Yeah I'm not out of Utah yet, but, unless I'm a giant screw-up, I'm going to go somewhere where I'm pretty sure I can finally fit in without trying to hide who I am and what I believe.
Also, I'm in the process of acquiring pedals to build a big pedalboard and the initial results are fantastic!

I'm at my parents place. My mom is helping me figure out college stuff, and they offered to let me move in while I wait for college info. I feel really mixed about the whole situation, but I'm kind of glad.

shit cray.
Edit: Post number 1337 BECAUSE I'M SO DAMN COOL.

Yeah I'm hoping we can record it. I know the guy who does the booking at a local club/bar called the Bug Jar. They have some diverse shows there (I went to a free noise show there last night). I think we're on the bill with some post-rock/ambient acts but I'm not 100% sure. I described our stuff as ambient/spacey, and the booking guy said it sounds like we'd fit well with the bands already playing.
