Most people here don't know much about economics. All they think they know is what politicians tell them. Let's face it, Econ 101 is kind of dry, and requires basic math skills that most Americans aren't willing or are too mathphobic to tackle, so it's not a popular subject for the masses. Maybe we should require it at the high school level. That way people would be less easily flim-flammed.
