Lookin' good. That's a lot of wiring! Been tempted to build one of those Leo's.

I did the lion on stripboard first.. since it's basically the same shit without the filter. But yeah the X is dece. I think the llama or the fat sandwich are still my favorite 4049 drives.

Haven't built the ROG Double D yet but it looks money.

Here is the completed DeadEndFX ? E.Nigma
Really crazy flanger. I didn't even make the conscious decision to make it Riddler but those were some spraycans I had laying around.

Anyone have a recommendation for a 12VAC 800ma power supply?

These are good and relatively inexpensive. Got one for my PLLONE and a replacement for a Whammy Wah (they have both 2.1mm and 2.5mm)

Sweet! Oh boy, I have been eyeing the build document... did you drill this enclosure?

That Nigma looks awesome! Nice job.

Quick Q; Why didn't you mount the pots direct to the boards?

I never do either. I don't like the spacing for the enclosures I used, I'll post a pic when I get home from work

Yeah, its a Hammond 1456FH3WHBU. They are cool for the shape but they are coated in some kind of rubberized plastic paint stuff that sucks getting off and smells like rotting fish or vegetables when you sand it. You can use some paint remover but it takes many coats and then it sort of rubs off but you still need to sand some spots.

About not using PCB mount pots, I had built a Doppleganger in a smaller hammond angled enclosure like these that wouldn't fit with the pots on the board, I anticipated there being not enough room in these enclosures so the pots I had ordered were just solder lug. You can use PCB mount with these enclosures. I kind of liked spreading out the switches a bit too.

There's my E nigma. I wanted the pots to be spaced out a little more and closer to the top so I used solder lug and solid core wire.

Sweet builds y'all, would love to hear'em in action! I should also make some demos, it's hard to describe what a pedal sounds like... Imagine. But looking is good too.

Here's a double feature, finished them around the same time.

Blue Plate Special (tagboardeffects as usual, damn I love you) which is the first circuit I've found where the MP38 sounds nice. Well, one (out of ten) had an especially pleasing breakup so that's in there. It's a treble booster I guess, or a low gain overdrive with a cocked wah-type mid hump. Like I said hard to explain, but definitely a ragged, vintage-feeling (it's a Russian tranny from '78 after all) thing that just is what is and I like it. Volume knob to push amp harder. Yellow LED that does not blind. No graphics as of yet.

Max three attachments, ok.

My second Sidescroller from Parasit. A friend expressed interest in buying the one I built a year ago, and although that still hasn't happened I wanted to have a backup for myself. Turns out this new one sounds exactly like the old, maybe sliiightly brighter, but that could well be in my mind because of the color (first one was black w/ red knobs).

I have a 1948 Olds Special tenor trombone that I could be practicing with, but instead wanted to make electric.
So I made a fleshlight!practice mute out of an International Delight coffee creamer bottle, a simple LM386 amp and an old Casio speaker wired in reverse, to act as a microphone.

Not pretty, but it works pretty well as far as volume and sound reproduction go. It has a fair amount of background hiss I'd like to figure out. I haven't built a circuit in a long time, so this was a nice practice job. I'll make a refined version eventually.
