I just posted to the CL missed connections page

I went and saw The World Is A Beautiful Place & I'm No Longer Afraid To Die (awesome show), and there was a woman there wearing a Have A Nice Life shirt. & she was so cute. Nay, gorgeous. Nay, beautiful. During one of the sets I typed on my phone "I like you shirt" and showed it to her. She smiled and gave me thumbs up, but then the bands were still playing, and we couldn't talk... and then you know. I pattered around looking at her but nothing. I chickened out. I didn't want to interrupt her talking with her friends but I should have.

So, missed connections ahaha. First time I've done that. Feels silly, but what's the harm?

I usually chicken out too but when I don't it always goes well. I feel like no matter what you say or do in a social situation your personality will shine through and people who are worth your time will enjoy being around you

Yeah, I've only done it a few times before and once turned out pretty well. I know I should have. Bah. Oh well. Hopefully next time.

I knoooooow I should have waited until the band was over and just said it to her face to face. I blew it.

On that note--I just stumbled across a position in my industry for BRAND X that I'm definitely qualified for. Like, disgustingly well fit.

The only issue is that 98% of my online (read: Google-ready) presence I have comes from a widely disseminated bit that completely calls out Brand X for being out of touch with said industry.

So now i have to say "I [demonstratably] have what you want--credibility. You have what I [demonstratively] want--money," without coming off as either a cash-grubbing douchenozzle or a holier-than-thou prick.

I don't like when I come down from drinking or smoking. I need to do such activities and the go to sleep before sobering up. Things feel... dull. & weird.

Oooo I like this one. Usually drone synths are super dirty, which can sound nice, but I like how murky and soft this one sounds.

I've had somewhat decent results bassing the fuck out with a filter pedal. I've found the IE Xerograph does well if set it correctly. I could try to make a video but I doubt my mic will be able to pick it up
