Aktuala - Aktuala
plus, it's Italian, so that automatically makes it prog friendly, right Dowi?

it's a slippery territory.
I've never dug into world music, but I enjoy when a non-traditional-western-instrument comes up in a different context.

You know what? I just decided PALLBEARER counts. I'm putting on the future classic from 2014"Foundations of Burden" tonight.

Oh, yeah, I meant to say, Tom Cora wasn't Curlew's main man. That was the saxophonist George Cartwright.
Cora was one of two main dudes in this (also not prog) group though:

also, I wonder how a "world music" (as much as I hate to use that empty marketing term) thread would be welcomed? Or did Chank already start one?
I haven't started one, but I think there may've been a few of 'em here over time. I don't think there's been enough sustained interest to keep one goin'.
It's too bad because there's lots of great music from all over. Like this:

Starting last friday, Robert Fripp is releasing an ambient instrumental jam online every week for 50 weeks.

Probably should post this in the ambient/minimalism thread.

best prog riff since ltia imo. This album is so underrated, one of a few bands that managed to sound like an old band without sounding old

i don't like the face that guitars&keys are super clean all the time, but the overall sound reminds me of late 70ies prog indeed.
