I mean if we're pimping out ILF records we've got the Drone Comp and the Euro record to consider.

But that Khemmis album is rad. I forgot that was this year. 20 Buck Spin ftw. If you like that album, you will like this 2015 ILF offering:

also also, not an ILFband but if you have spotify (I don't) you should tell me if the rest of this record is as good as the opening track, which is hot fire:

Will check this shit out. Thanks D.o.S.

If I can manage to track down the spotify album I'll give it a spin. I don't use Spotify but I imagine it's on Apple Music.

Yeah I heard the first track on Radio Fenriz 11 (9:00 or so):
https://soundcloud.com/heavytassen/radio-fenriz-11-2015
and it's a banger, but that seems to be the only link they have online.

Also I would say all of the Radio Fenriz podcasts are on my be(a)st of 2015 list. Great work music.

updated list:
jazzy stuff: Steve Coleman 'Synovial Joints', Matt Mitchell 'Vista Accumulation', Ben Monder 'Amorphae', the Tomeka Reid Quartet album, the Sakata/O'Rourke/Merzbow/Chikamorachi 'Flying Basket' double LP, Stephen Haynes 'Pomegranate', Chris Pitsiokos - 'Gordian Twine', Mary Halvorson 'Meltframe'
////
noisy, weird rock: Aleuchatistas 'Arrebato', Upsilon Acrux's 'Sun Square Dialect', Battles 'La Di Da Di', Serious Beak "Ankaa" (i guess this could have gone under 'metal'...whatev's), JOBS - 'Killer BOB sings' (the vocals on this one kinda grate on me a little, though), Kowloon Walled City 'Grievances', Elephant9 w/ Reine Fiske 'Silver Mountain', Gnarwhal 'Shinerboy', Guapo 'Obscure Knowledge', Sonar 'Black Light', Housewives 'Work', goat 'rhythm and sound' (this is the band from japan, not the one from sweden)
////
metal: Krallice 'Ygg Huur', Chaos Echoes 'Transient', Ad Nauseam 'Nihil Quam Vacuitas Ordinatum Est'
////
uncategorizable: Heather Leigh - I Abused Animal
////
sardonic baroque pop: Jim O'Rourke - Simple Songs

Ah, I thought there was nobody here that understands me! Flicking through this thread while Helena Hauff is on was making me feel sad and lonely.

This album caught me completely by surprise, bought it on a whim. Noisy 90s post-hardcore from Tokyo.

^^^ That record is killer, but I wish more people would talk about how the first song is the Price is Right theme...

Pardon my ignorance, but what record is that? Cool looking guy with sax standing in front of planets seems like something I should listen to.
