Yeah. It functions like a really small spring reverb. If you take the springs off or touch them while hitting the box it sounds completely dead.

Sounds cool and has quite a bit of variety but for me the drone and the noise is just too loud compared to the dry signal, does the mix knob do anything to get a more layered sound?

I have the mix maxed out or close to maxed out the entire demo, so it's definitely possible to make it sit more in the back of the mix.

No, but it gets fairly close. It is tapered very evenly, so setting it the way you like it is a cakewalk. I usually keep it at around 90% wet.

I do recommend checking out Alexey's own in-depth demo. It show off a lot more of what the pedal is capable of. I might not have shown off too much of the drone settings (I'm a delayoholic), which are really lovely. It goes into drone mode when the delay knob is pushed past 3 o'clock, I had over 3 hours of clips, but I like keeping my demos to 10 minutes max. Maybe I should start live-streaming demos
