FWIW, I've seen video of him wearing a mask (which I'm pretty sure isn't fake).
Here's a photo of him actually on a bicycle:

That's a nice bike! I am not sure about the suit though.
I am trying to figure out how to commute to work (10 miles) and I am worried I will sweat all day. Would not pull it off in the suit.

My ride for running errands and going from one spot to the next...
Last purchase I made in Amsterdam before changing jobs (head office of previous employer was in Amsterdam - had to go there once a month).
Crate us made by Two_o, (also a Dutch company) and the pannier skaterack is by Fairdale (US).

Re: Let's see your BICYCLE!
My office is right next to a state park, so I'm able to (or I was able to...when i went into the office) bike there and ride the gravel bike and bridle trails. I mostly rode my mountain bike, but bought a Poseidon X gravel bike earlier this year. Pretty good deal for a $700 bike.hbombgraphics wrote:MrNovember wrote:Nice score! I love my Trek Stache 6 (2014, I think) and would love to put a dropper post in it. I just finished up swapping the brakes, which has become a yearly activity because they're contaminated every damned time I bring it out of storage.hbombgraphics wrote:Snagged a 2019 Marlin 6 on craigslist, only got about 6 miles on it yesterday but it is flipping amazing, and only 300bucks!!
Still like my old 90s steel but this thing is crisp.
Thinking about tossing on a dropper post
I haven't been riding many trails recently, so I'm considering picking up some kind of road/gravel bike. Everything I keep looking at is way outside my non-existent budget, though.
yeah, I would love a gravel bike, thinking of converting my 90s mountain bike,
That should be a pretty simple project, street tires, and maybe a hub with a better climbing gear
I changed the stem to make it less aggressive, but otherwise it fit well. Only complaint is that I rather have hydraulic disc brakes...

Re: Let's see your BICYCLE!
This is incoming,
Was looking for something to Log road miles
I want to put together a commuter to make the 10Mile (16KM) trip to work, not sure this will do it, but I got this super cheap so I can at least see if I like road biking at all.

You could always throw different bars on there?

I was thinking about it or maybe adding breaks on the top so I can sit upright., my biggest concern is the tires, I can go a little wider but not much. Plus no rack mounts so I have to get one the bolts to the seatpost.
I am a sweaty dude so I think I need a rack and bag to use for work so I can put on a clean shirt (if I use a backpack I will sweat through) although I thought about just ziplocking some stuff in a backpack to try it out.

Cool bike. Agree on the backpack thing for a 10 mile commute. Mine is about 12 and I just have to shower
yeah new bars/brakes should do a lot. I think for doing 10 miles the frame and tires should be great as long as the surfaces aren't too bad! Much gravel or water though and yeah skid city

Re: Let's see your BICYCLE!

This is my current whip - bought it last month on Craigslist as there seems to be a huge number of people selling their bikes after buying them during the pandemic. The guy who sold it to me told me he was taking a fairly big loss on it (however I didn't even haggle!) and bought it "because it looked cool". I'm about to take it in for it's annual check up with my bike repair person. It's like -20 outside now so definitely feels dumb but there's going to be a backlog when it gets warmer out.
I have another road bike (a sick early 80's Canadian Supercycle with awesome colours) last year and wound up biking to and during work the whole summer last year - I work in community mental health so I'd bike to my office, pick up my client listens medication, bike around all day and then bike home. It was great. I am hoping to be back on my bike starting April 1st. Previously I was at the hospital full time so last summer was a truly liberating experience!

You know it - these bikes are everywhere but not often in tip top shape like this (we’ll see what my repair dude says todayChankgeez wrote:Classic Canadian steel right there.

The only concern I have is theft - bike theft is so common here - so I’ll most likely never let it out of my sight and I think I’ll store it inside overnight rather than locking it in my shed.
