Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
It was nice talking to ytou today Nick! Check out my new project. That fella Tony from Mos Generator bought one of those Rangemaster replicas awhile back. I know you saw it on my fb. Well he tried out my Naga Viper clone today and he's having me gut the RM replica ($300 item jeez!) and build a Naga Viper in there. Nutty!

Yes I did see that project a while back. Killer man, haha. So you made the rangemaster clone, then he wanted you to gut his rangemaster cloen to put naga viper in there? lol. I just got home from Seeing ron play (curse the son) in new haven. Blew away every other crappy metallica slayer ripoff band that played at this birthday bash

Nah he bought that crazyass replica thingy. He was having me tidy up his newbie style input cap mod when it was over here before. But now he just wants it all out and a Naga Viper in there.

2 times I have seen him play that head, at SHoD and today. Soon he will have #002. So it will be a stereo setup to complete his rig.

Right on Nick! Ya know what Harry? I never dug on Tad. The band. I am loving the hell out of this Brothers band though. And of course nobody would ever try to say that Tad the man isn't a fucking saint.
Also, you live in Boise right? I think we might finally get down there in April.

Re: The Doom Room: ILF Edition
So what got you guys into Doom/stoner/downtempo music?
I cant think of anything specifically I have just always dug on doomy music. Pink Floyd was my first love mainly Animals and Meddle. I always liked Black Sabbath and then I heard Type-O-Negative. I dont really think of the as a Doom band Per se but they are pretty fucking Doomy. Ministry Filth Pig is one of my all time favorite Records and its a little doomy but again not a strictly doom band. About 4 years ago I tried out for a band that only lasted about 2 months but in that time I was introduced to Sleep, Electric Wizard, Orange Goblin, and reintroduced to Pentagram. From there ILF did the rest and now im hooked.
