All good with Qubit here. There was a panning issue in one channel of my Mixology and Collin sent me a brand new one immediately. Also shared a pic of my rack on instagram once.

yeah. i'm hoping that whatever crap things they did they learned from and are fine now? hit them up about mebbe possibly pre-ordering the Nebbster Two Point Oh.

also, Tetrapad and LxD into.

lol. and the new knobs for the Trigger Riot. i kinda hate line knobs on something that is an endleas rotary. but i meant to order the black knobs with white and black tops, ended up with the white knobs. so. trying those?

edit - annnnnnnnnd i'm an idiot. ordered the wrong size knobs in the wrong color. so... i have..... extras for other things? just ordered the RIGHT knobs. gotta wait another week and a half for them to get here from the UK though. durrrrrrrp.

I would recommend something like the WMD/SSF Ultrafold over the uFold. uFold is good, but kind of bland and vanilla compared to the Ultrafold. Ultrafold is the same size, only a few dollars more, and has way more controls.
Yeah, I had a uFold2 and traded it for an Ultrafold and I just much, much prefer it. The guy I traded with was more into the uFold though so it's a taste thing. I love the feedback input and the fact that there's a nice drive in there too. For pure classic wavefolding the uFold might do more but the Ultrafold has other things going on at the same time that make it much better for me.

And thanks for the 301 responses. I might consider it for later this year maybe depending on many factors. I mean, it needs to be really useful for things I can't do now and I need to have space and money for it so there's no rush ;).

Update on my fried module, replacement part came in and it’s booting up now! I haven’t taken the time to actually listen to my system or troubleshoot the other modules yet but at a glance everything appears to be hunky-dory! Quite a relief and it’s STILL patched with the stuff I was doing at the gig and it looks like I can still get a chance to record it. Man this has been almost 3 months with the same patch on there. I’m even more excited to unpatch it than I am to record it at this point!

What are the Trigger Riot knob specs and where did you find them? I have been feeling like replacing the standard knobbos with more colorful nubbins.

from thr KNOBS! thread on Muffs -

" Source:
https://www.thonk.co.uk/shop/intellijel-style-knobs/

Parts:
"Intellijel" Knobs → Small D Knob (x17)
"Intellijel" Knobs → Small Encoder Black Caps x3 (x6) "

they come with a hole at the top you pop the encoder cap into, Thonk has 3 colors you can choose from for caps with no lines (encoders vs regular caps), black, white and grey.

lol. jusssst make sure you get the small knobs, D shaft, and the right size caps. i accidentally ordered LARGE knobs with small caps. durp.

this is what my og TR looked like after i got them last time -

gonna do an X this time! because YEAH.

Picked up a Keystep to probably not use with my euro. But to use with my Blofeld that I never use because I didn't have a nice little keyboard for it. So now I'll have some pretty poly chord sequences.
Now I can fully dedicate my euro patching to nothing but noise and drones without thinking about lush pads while I'm patching.

Now that I'm back from vacation and not sick I need to get my ass into gear and have some fun.

niiiiiiiiice. and they're small enough you could have ONE FOR EVERY DEVICE. WOOOOOOOOOO!!

also, Tetrapad is funnnn. just played around with it sending note CV to a uBraids and a Rings going into a Retro Mechanical Labs EFC fuzz into a Jove, pressure CV to the Jove Frequency, position CV to the Jove Resonance.

only really played with the Keyboard setting so far and it's butts exciting.

Despite my distaste for QuBit, that is kind of sexy.

One of the great synths ATMO.

The randomization option rules and slays face.

I use an old DR-202 drum box as a controller.

Look forward to hearing how the Keystep works.

Blofeld.

I'll keep you posted. Seems like we have similar tastes.
I bought it a year ago and only played with it for a few hours. I'll have to look into the random. I only did some light editing of a few presets to see if I could get a long with it. Seemed to be a pretty intuitive interface.

This year I will be focusing on the Digitakt and Blofeld a lot. While trying to teach myself guitar and learning how to patch my euro better. Also need to fit in some light recording (gotta learn that too).
