And how they calculate GPA is fucking bullshit. If you get a 90 in one class and a 100 in another, guess what? You're still getting a 3.7 even though your grade average should translate to a 4.0.

I ran into a good friend of mine that I see pretty infrequently a while ago. He's heading to Switzerland/Sweden/White Cold Northern European Country Chock Full Of White People to do some paid Ph.D work in some relatively obscure field, and he ended up there (after getting an undergraduate and a non-terminal graduate degree) because of his fear of the real world.

Shit sucks, if you have any affection towards academia (beyond just hiding from the real world, 'cause you gotta be down to game the system), then don't do it.

Yeah, there's an Epi EB-3, or maybe it's called the SG, that has the mini-humbucker in the bridge.
From what I've heard, the Epi mudbuckers suck by default, but they can easily be replaced by cheap Chinese ones that really are wound to 30k
