I actually sold off my Gibson SG to keep the CV Squier. It stays in tune, has the sound and the playability. The kid before me modded it with new electronics - shit I don't even remember, lol. Something about an orange drop, tone pots, fekk idk. It has a SD 60's single coil and a SD mini hum.

I love the Ibanez bass but I'd really love to get a hold of the matching CV bass

Done right a Strat can look good. I like a Dave Gilmour looking Strat; Black with a Black Pickguard.

Basically can't stand a Fender/Any Fender with a white pickguard.

I kinda regret getting rid of mine.

I agree, except for seafoam green... that needs a white one. Otherwise, black guards should be the standard pg color
