Couldn't pass up a good deal on a silver knob Toadworks Mr. Ed.
Also got my WSOU back in house after Multi_S got her repaired and up and running for me.

Mr Ed sounds really good. I did a little looking up on it,....I saw claims that it is intended chase the EVH "Brown Sound" (whatever that is) and that it is a Fuzz Face clone.
So two things. One,...I hate Van Halen and couldn't care less about copping EVH's sound,...that and I'm sure that it will take a lot more than a pedal to be an EVH ripoff.
I'm fairly connected to Ryan of ToadWorks as he lives in Spokane (although I've never met him in person),...so I pressed him for validity to the Fuzz Face clone claims. He says that the architecture is the same but a lot of the component values are different and that it sounds nothing like a fuzz face (having never owned one,...I couldn't tell). It definitely goes from a nice OD to fuzzy territory.
I think it sounds great and will probably be going onto a guitar centric board.

It's a custom number with Lollars and a Mastery.
the seller built it, but seems to really know what he's doing.
We'll see how it is.
