First of all, if you haven't seen the documentary "Overnight" you need to watch it. It's necessary.

Anyway, if you jump to three minutes you'll see exactly where I'm at right now.

Just watched the whole thing. My god, what an asshole. I almost want to feel sorry for him, but I can't. Just... wow. The ego of that man. The complete lack of respect and gratitude for all the people giving him so many opportunities. The total obliviousness to how his attitude is screwing all of them over. And he never changes. How any of his bandmates or the rest of the people he was working with could put up with that for so long is beyond me.

I found that the best thing is to take life into your own hands.
Yeah I know it sucks but it's worth it.

Yeah. A sense of self-worth is important. But that's ridiculous.

i have to hock one of my Stratocasters to my lawyer as security against future bills in lieu of a retainer. it could be worse, though...he actually talked me down; i originally offered him three guitars as equivalent value against his typical $2000 retainer. he asked me "which one do you play least?" he's a good dude. and he's not like a hipster musician dude either...he's a family man who plays golf.

Fuck NOT beating your kids.
You know who doesn't beat their kids? Parents who like getting shit on by children.
It's not about balls. It's about showing them who is boss and immediate consequences.

I wish I could say that you shouldn't worry because nobody from Harmony Central has ever really left their amp collection long enough to procreate.
I wish I could say a lot of things.
